Soulwax - Ghent, Belgium

It's a student city so that means there's a lot of young people. It has a very very very good nightlife. You can go out in Gent every night I think, until 6 or 7 in the morning. Now there's a really cool club called the Culture Club. And then there's different nights called the Eskimo night - it's really cool to come to cos it's an exclusive night and it's done in the Museum of Modern Art - a lot of English people have been there and said they've never seen anything like it.

There's one really good restaurant. You know the sandwich Martino? That sandwich is made in our home town and it's a family who originated it in 1938. It's a snack bar which has been there and the decoration has been the same. If you ask anyone in Gent where it is, they would know it cos it's quite famous. They have a lot of sandwiches and good steaks and stuff like that.

Then in July we have this crazy thing I have to promote - it's called The Festivities of Ghent and it's a bit like the Notting Hill Carnival but a bit wierder. It's a 10 day thing - it's complete mayhem, clubs, people on the street, it's really cool. It's a good period to come to Ghent to see what crazy and stupid people we are.
